About Corporate Member

Looking back at our club history, the idea to form an association started in 1962,when Japanese expatriates who works in the area shared information with each other about the difficulties faced such as the openings of a company branch or applying for visas. Then the following year on the 25th of November 1963,”To promote friendship and co-operation among members and to contribute to the advancement of goodwill between Japan and Malaysia” as the objective, an establishment application was officially made to the Malaysian Government.

Corporate members, from the time of establishment until now, hasn’t change and are still providing a great deal of support as part of the cooperation by donating and volunteering in each event.

In 1976, with lots of great effort and donations from corporate members, for the purpose of children education, the construction of the Japanese school was completed. In 1993, Subang school building was built and moved with under the same cooperation and the old building was used by the association as the clubhouse. The clubhouse is over 40 years old and has seen the effects of aging which shall resulted in high maintenance cost. From that, rebuilding the clubhouse is under review and in 2015 Annual General Meeting, members approved and agreed for funds to be accumulated.

Such a background, corporate members has contributed a lot for the activities of the club, not only to the employee welfare and child education but also to foster friendship and mutual understanding with local people. We believe that all members related to the club will do their best to ensure that members receive the best possible satisfaction and with the financial and volunteer assistance from corporate members. We thank and appreciate all members for their continuous effort and support to the club.
